This project focused on three major areas - organic chemistry, crystallography and non-linear optical physics. The eight-month full-time research entailed synthesis of the DSTMS crystal ((4-N, N-dimethylamino-4'-N'-methyl-stilbazolium) 2,4,6-trimethyl benzene sulfonate), optimizing the process for crystal growth followed by comprehensive analysis of the crystal.

Grew a crystal of 1x1x0.5 cm, doubling the expected size of 0.5x0.5x0.5

Managed a diverse team of sixty students working for multilingual content writing, design, art, logistic, administration, and database departments to produce a five hundred page college yearbook. This included outlining timelines, resource, and budget allocation for departments; conducted inter-department brainstorming sessions to facilitate a cohesive working environment. Managed photoshoot for all clubs/organizations, department students, and faculty on campus. Organized fundraising events to sponsor team-building activities
